Prototype Information: The Lockheed Lightning was one of the unique fighter aircraft of WWII featuring a twin engine, twin boom, design. The aircraft served in all major theatres of the war and proved deadly to its adversaries in the hands of a skilled pilot. The highest scoring US ace, Major Richard Bong scored 40 victories over Japanese aircraft in various types of P-38.

The rugged B-25 was one of the most famous twin engine bombers developed during World War II. In fact, it was one of the most widely used twin-engine bombers employed during the war. It incorporated the use of 5 nose mounted.50 cal. machine guns for a ground support role. Contains a total of 138 pieces.
